Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a common sleep-related breathing disorder which can lead to significant health consequences if left untreated.  Our research aims to understand the cause of OSA and investigate new treatments for it.


Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder and is characterised by a difficulty getting to sleep and/or staying asleep.  Our research investigates novel treatments for insomnia.

Occupational Research

The Centre for Sleep Science works with a variety of industries to investigate sleep patterns, alertness levels and fatigue risk.
